The Kilted Yogi

Finlay Wilson is a renowned yoga teacher who has captivated millions worldwide. Known for his unique blend of yoga, Scottish heritage, and a commitment to well-being, Finlay has gained international recognition through his viral videos and the release of his book, "Kilted Yoga, Yoga Laid Bare."

Finlay is a long time customer, so when we started planning our Pride celebrations, we knew we had to work with him.

Based in Dundee, Finlay is not only a certified Yoga teacher and Senior Yoga Alliance instructor but also the founder of Heart Space Yoga & Bodyworks, a charitable organization that brings yoga to children and marginalized groups. With a personal journey of using yoga for rehabilitation after surgeries, Finlay has accumulated over 2000 hours of training and expertise in Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles.

Beyond his regular classes, Finlay leads workshops, teacher training programs, and speaks publicly about important topics such as LGBTQ+ issues, male mental health, and suicide prevention.

LGBT Youth Scotland is Scotland’s national charity for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Questioning and Intersex (LGBTQ+) young people.

LGBTQ+ young people face unique and additional barriers to realising their potential and that is why LGBT Youth Scotland exists. We believe Scotland can be a place where all young people can thrive and flourish, and we work alongside young people to remove those barriers; working with young people individually, and amplifying their collective voices to influence change.
