WHAT IS THE SAMPLE SALE?

Anything that fails our rigorous quality control procedures is saved as a sample.

Each year, we sell these production samples, as well as old stock and discontinued items and colorways at heavily discounted prices.

These samples are still great bags. The faults don't affect their function - they just don't meet our insanely strict QC guidelines.

It's our way of making sure that products that aren't quite perfect still get the love they deserve.

WHAT WILL BE AVAILABLE?

DISCONTINUED

Includes discontinued designs, colours and products that are no longer available.

FACTORY SECONDS

Includes items that show minor flaws such as skipped stitches, small panel misalignments, or any production fault that prevents it from meeting our quality standards for full price items. These items have never left the workshop.

WHAT OFFERS WILL BE AVAILABLE?

The discount will be up to 50% OFF depending on the condition of the item.

All products in this years sample sale are Grade A. You can find out more the kind of minor faults to expect with grade A products below.

CAN I USE DISCOUNT CODES?

No. Sample sale products are already heavily discounted.

CAN I RESERVE A PRODUCT BEFORE THE SALE GOES LIVE?

No. Our Sample Sale is first come, first served.

I HAVE A GIFT CARD. CAN I USE IT DURING THE SAMPLE SALE?

Yes!

WILL THERE BE ANY MORE STOCK ADDED?

No. Once it's gone, it's gone.

CAN I RETURN SAMPLE SALE PRODUCTS?

Yes. Our standard returns policy applies.

ARE SAMPLE SALE PURCHASES COVERED BY YOUR LIFETIME GUARANTEE?

No. Sample Sale bags are not covered by our lifetime guarantee. By their very nature, sample bags will be slightly flawed in some way.

QUALITY GRADING

All of the products in the January sample sale are Grade A Samples.

Grade A Samples are of the highest quality. The chances are, you may not even realise the product is faulty.

Items have small flaws that do not impact the items functionality.  This may be a small fabric flaws, a product used during a photoshoot or slight imperfections.  

Overall, Grade A sample items are near perfect, they just failed to meet or very high quality control standards. 

GRADE A: What to expect

PUCKERING

A pucker is a small fold or pleat in the fabric on a seam. They are most often found on corners, which can be tricky to sew.

COSMETIC FLAWS

Issues can include: puckering, small fabric flaws, minor stitching problems or simply discontinued stock.

MINOR IMPERFECTIONS

We QC our products rigorously, and often the tiniest problems get flagged as a fault.
