Awesome messenger bag, you won’t regret it

Just the right size to carry my essential items. The cobra buckles do take some getting used to as you need to push the buckle upwards whilst squeezing the release clips. Whilst some people may get frustrated with this I see it as extra security when walking through crowded places. Whilst the plastic buckles on other bags can be quickly and silently opened, they are also quite loud to close and look quite weak. Although the cobra buckles are heavier, they are more robust and look so much better. *** Definitely worth buying ***

A messenger bag of 10 litre capacity? Oh no -> Oh yes!

I had been studying Trakke as a bag maker and as a company for some time...what they are trying to achieve, chimed with how I would like to choose what I own and how I use my everyday items like bags. But having always aimed for around 30litre capacity rucksacks for my commute, etc, I had often believed one big bag for all purposes was the way to go. But the beautiful designs and the philosophy that comes through what Trakke does and how they make bags...eventually won me over. So I went crazy one evening and broke the law by which I had been a bag user, i.e., always opting for a big backpack with spare capacity, made of waterproof material with a built in rain cover, etc: I actually bought this messenger bag, which is made of cotton (though I knew it was waxed), with only one third of the capacity I've always gone for. The result has been an utter delight: how every square inch of the space is so meaningfully useful, there is space for everything, whether I am off for a voice lesson with a chunky music book and a water bottle, or whether I am off for work, regardless whether the commute is by car or bike. A bit of rain has been no problem. I also took it for a trip home (Japan) in the summer, when the temperature was pushing to 40C and it was a comfortable and reliable bag for days out. The handle bit on the back looked mysterious at first, but it has proven surprisingly handy, for example, for hanging up on the hook of a toilet door so it's secure and stays clean. The olive colour I chose just blends and goes with any output I go for to become part of the day's attire. Thanks Trakke for all the thinking and designing you do. You have shown me the beauty of simplicity and how less can be more in a way I couldn't have learned on my own. Thank you also for your patient team who met me that day in the shop as I deliberated this and that way.

Probably my favourite shoulder bag I’ve owned. Materials are superb, cobra buckles a premium bit of fun, and the orange liner is a surprisingly big part of the enjoyment of the bag. Enough organisation without overkill. And it looks wonderful in black. After trying and selling many bags from several companies I’ve realised that for me access don’t have to be quick, just doesn’t have to a labour. This is not super quick access due to two buckles securing the bag and no external pockets. But I find it doesn’t matter. The experience is about the feel and thoughtfulness of the bag as it is, not prioritising speed of access. And actually undoing one buckle gets you into one of the front pockets result and into the top of the main compartment too. I also have the Kelso sling and that’s not particularly quick access either but it’s just great fun to use. Top marks, I look forward to picking this up in the morning on the way out the door and you can’t say that about many bags.
